It’s not every day you see 100 students deliver 4,000 petitions to the School Board President, but that’s exactly what happened in Los Angeles on April 29, 2014. Students asked Dr. Vladovic, President of the L.A. Unified School Board, to support their “Student Need Index” which uses social, academic and demographic factors to rank all of the district’s schools based on need.
